Aircraft Check Valves and Slowdowns
A check valve is like the valves in your own heart. The check valve just like your heart valve keeps fluid moving in only one direction. When lowriders use aircraft check valves they are usually ones made by GAR or Adex. It is not recommended to hop a car with aircraft checks but they are great for old school Pesco power packs and so forth.
A slowdown valve is used to control the flow of hydraulic fluid returning to the hydraulic reservoir.

Above: Here is a small 90 degree aircraft slowdown valve. Small 90 degree valves are used on aircraft setups where the installer wants less clutter for a clean show quailty install.
